Athletics

St. Mary's Parish Athletic Program has CYO basketball teams for boys and girls in grades fifth through eighth.  These teams play other teams in the Rochester/Finger Lakes area.

St. Mary’s School has fall soccer teams if there is enough interest on the part of students and parents in Grades 3-6.

Modified Cross Country starts in late summer/early fall.  Running Club is held in the spring.

The Snowsport Club meets at Bristol Mountain starting in January.

The Golf Club meets in the spring at the Canandaigua Country Club.

We consider our athletic program an integral part of our parish and school. Athletics not only aid the development of the whole person, but also do so much to teach Christian living through good sportsmanship, respect for the individual, as well as responsibility to the group. This is one of our most valuable tools in developing community.

Information will be sent home as it becomes available.

Requirements for Participation in Athletic Programs or Extra Curricular Activities

At all times, those who participate in school related activities are governed by the disciplinary rules and regulations as set forth in this Parent Handbook and the Diocesan CYO Guidelines pertinent to conduct at such activities.
